Your Privacy and Security means a lot to me
Winnies Yorkshire Delights is wholly committed to protecting your privacy at all times. As such, we only collect information about you so that we may process your order and to provide you with a high-quality service. We will not email you in the future, other than for order confirmation, unless you have given us your permission.
The information we are required to collect about you is limited to your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without explicit consent. We endeavour at all times to maintain the information we store as accurately and up to date as possible. You retain the right to request and view all information we hold about you at any time by simply emailing us a disclosure request. If you find any inaccuracies we will amend or delete immediately. This does not affect your statutory rights in any way.
The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act and our own Internal Security Policy.
Our contract with you
When you place an order with us, your order is classed as an offer which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. If in the event we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product. We reserve the right to amend or cancel an order at any time, but will always make you aware of any changes prior to making them – see Restrictions of Sale
Unfortunately, we are not able process orders placed through the website to addresses outside of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. If you would like to have an order delivered to an address outside of the UK please contact by writing to us via the contact page.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to either cancel or make changes to your order.
Your right to make changes
If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact us at your earliest convenience and we will let you know if the change is possible. Wherever possible, we will let you know about any changes to the price of your order, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.
Please allow 3 working days for delivery. Please note we don’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. If you have not received your order within 3 working days, please contact us on the third day via email@example.com so we may locate your order and deal with your request.
Unwanted Goods Policy
If you change your mind or feel the items received are not as described, you can return them for a full refund of the price of the item(s). The cost of postage or delivery charge is a separate transaction and therefore not refundable. If you wish to return the goods you must advise us of your intention to do so within 3 working days, and return them to us in the original packaging within 14 days of your receiving the goods. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods and ensuring they are returned to us in the condition you received them.
Please note we reserve the right to charge a 10% handling charge for cancelled orders. This amount, where charged, will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, if you request that goods are left without signature then we cannot be responsible for damages or shortages.
For packaging or goods that are damaged or faulty, please do not use or further unpack the goods. Instead, please contact us within 48 hours via firstname.lastname@example.org. We recommended that you include at least one clear photo of any fault or damage in your email. Once we have confirmed your request via email or phone, please return them to us by Royal Mail recorded delivery within fourteen days.
Damaged goods will be replaced or refunded according to your wishes, including the cost of return postage, when we have received the returned item. Failure to contact us within 48 hours may result in your claim being rejected.
Errors and inaccuracies
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in our services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers. product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice including after you have submitted your order. To the extent permitted by Law, Winnies Yorkshire Delights assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions of this website.
Restrictions of Sale
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement and at our discretion, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
Like many companies in the UK, we sometimes use ”cookie’ ‘technology on our website. These cookies are stored on your computer by your browser. When you log in, this type of cookie tells us whether you’ve visited us before or are a new visitor. The cookie cannot and does not obtain any personal information from your computer. We do use the cookies to help us collect generalised usage data, namely identifying which of our Winnies Yorkshire Delights site features our customers have the greatest interest in, so that we can provide more of what you want as well as what is of most interest for our customers and site visitors.
